Della Casa Sues Related Group
The kitchen designer and supplier for several of ‘The Related Group’ projects is suing the The Related Group, possibly delaying the delivery of the condo. The construction in question is The Apogee, a super high luxury condo located in one of the most exclusive parts of Miami Beach. They are alleging that the Related Group is stealing the designs and hiring out cheap alternatives. I’ll bet the homeowners are thrilled that the case may delay the delivery, scheduled for within a few months… a little more time to try to sell it.

I heard some info too by the way. They sold around 50 units this year, almost all single-room units.
I heard we will have to close in january - true?
Oh one last thing. The mortgage market has ground to a halt - if it continues or gets worse, we might not be able to get mortgages. Think the Plaza will work out a deal?

Hi miamicrash,
The last I heard, closing will be in Quarter 1 of 2008. They said maybe February. I will call them to get more updates. I heard that had resold 40% of the units since the sell-out.
As for the mortgage situation, you are right… I doubt however that they will help with financing in any way…but I’ll ask. I know they will have rental management.
